Kate Moseley
F.o.L BRIDE: Girl Boss and Lifestyle Photographer, capturing all of life's special moments.
AKA: Mrs Robinson.
THE GROOM: Greig.
MARRIED: On the Giggleswick School cricket pitch...This is where we both first met at 16! We had two Berber-style marquee tents and wanted a relaxed, bohemian vibe. We had flowers everywhere! We also wanted everyone to feel a part of the day so we had lots of family contribute one way or another. It made it very special!
THE STORY GOES: We met at school when we were both 16 years old, our first kiss was on the pathway up to where we got married.
TEAMBRIDESMAID: My amazing sisters Kelly and Christy, new sister Meg and my best friends Jaz, Lou and Emily.
THE DRESS: My dress was perfect! A long-sleeved lace cropped top with a beautiful silk skirt with train. The initial wedding dress shopping was quite stressful as I felt nothing suited me at all. But as soon as I started working with the amazing Amie I felt so happy as I was finally going to have the dream dress.
STANDOUT MOMENT: Walking down the aisle with my beautiful Mama.
RANDOM FACT: We're lucky our brilliant band showed up...Turns out amid my entire super wedding organisation I never actually told them where we were getting married, just the village! Luckily they kept driving around until they found us! Oops!
SOUNDTRACK TO THE DAY: Ohh that’s tricky, so I'll have to say two...We wanted an upbeat song when I walked down the aisle, so had Jackie Wilson’s 'Higher and Higher' and our first dance was 'You're My Best Friend' by Queen. Whenever I hear those songs come on the radio I instantly smile.
FLEETWOOD OF LONDON: Made my dream wedding dress possible, it was beyond perfect!
THE TEAM:
Photographer – On Love and Photography captured our day perfectly.
Marquee – Will's Marquees did both our ceremony and reception tent, they are gorgeous bohemian Berber-style tents, which is what we were after.
Music – We had band Louis Louis Louis, who kept us dancing for hours!!!
Florist – My amazing friend Nics did our flowers, she's super-creative and has a beautiful eye for floral design, despite not being a florist.
Most important were our incredible family and friends who made our mostly DIY wedding happen!

Jade Oliver
F.o.L BRIDE: The gorgeous entrepreneur and Founder of Heavenly Homes and Gardens.
AKA: Mrs Oliver. (Keeping my maiden name – girl power!)
THE GROOM: Gaz.
MARRIED: At my Grandma's beautiful home, in the Tithe Barn at Postlip Hall, Cheltenham. Getting married at the family home added to the relaxed feel of the day, and I’m incredibly lucky that it’s such a beautiful place. We went for a really bohemian look – my mum and her partner own an antiques shop so they brought huge Persian rugs, sofas and tables that we set up outside in the sunshine. We were lucky that it was the most beautiful day!
THE STORY GOES: We were housemates at uni and love blossomed. It took 12 years before we got hitched.
TEAMBRIDESMAID: My best friend Grace was the ultimate maid of honour and helped hugely with the dress search. My best gals Sophie, Vicky and Anne were all hero bridesmaids too. They organised an incredible hen do – those gals know how to party! My sisters Hannah and Cloe flew back from travelling to be bridesmaids, which meant the world to me. I also had my niece and my goddaughter as flower girls. I think that makes eight! Gaz also had seven groomsmen so there was a huge crew of us. The clothes bill wasn’t cheap for that many people but it was totally worth it – we had so much fun having all our best friends involved.
THE DRESS: I was desperate for a two-piece dress that felt young, fashionable and a little bit sexy! Everything I had tried on felt too traditional and not very me. When I discovered Fleetwood of London I was over the moon – Amie’s style was exactly what I was looking for. It was really fun to work together, creating my dream dress and seeing it evolve at each fitting.
STANDOUT MOMENT: I’m happiest when travelling, so organising our honeymoon around Sri Lanka and the Maldives was amazing. I run an interiors business so I’m always buying when abroad and come home with a suitcase full of treasure – it’s a great excuse for more holidays!
RANDOM FACT: We only sent out formal invitations a couple of weeks before the wedding. Everyone knew the date and venue so I was relaxed, but it didn’t go down too well with the more traditional family members! All was forgiven when they saw how beautiful the invites were though – a graphic designer friend created Rifle Paper Co.-inspired invites on black card with hand-painted bright florals and gold brush lettering. Divine!
SOUNDTRACK TO THE DAY: I love everything from house music to Beyoncé to Fleetwood Mac! We didn’t have a first dance, but put a lot of thought into ceremony music. I walked down the aisle to Elbow, ‘One Day Like This’ and we exited to ‘Your Love Gets Sweeter’ by Finley Quaye, and there was a lot of soul and blues in between.
FLEETWOOD OF LONDON: A bohemian dream come true!
THE TEAM:
Photographer – Noel Deasington is a genius. I'm so pleased with the photos and he has a very unobtrusive style.
Hair and Make-Up – Ginger Princess, Claire was in charge of glam and did the most amazing job on such a huge crew. She even created a Lana del Rey-inspired floral headpiece for me!
Florist – Ivory Flowers I had to have my favourite Bristol florist, Xanthe, who is an absolute dream to work with.
Finally a talented friend from work made our incredible wedding cake, which was the loveliest gesture.

Kirsty Hathaway
F.o.L BRIDE: The super-sassy party girl and Creative Director of Refinery29.
AKA: Mrs Hathaway-Taylor.
THE GROOM: Oli.
MARRIED: At Puro Beach Illetas, Mallorca. We got married under a simple branch arch that framed the Mediterranean Sea behind us. It was magical.
THE STORY GOES: A best mate called Dave, several parties and a span of 14 years, the story starts to unfold with a set-up and a blind date concocted by mutual friend, Dave. Kirsty and Oli would say it was love at second date, but with a proposal after four months and marriage a year to the day of the proposal, we'd say Oli knew he'd found himself a beauty.
TEAMBRIDESMAID: I was supported by some incredible friends who got my disorganised self into action; with some late-night dancing and drinking champers into the early hours.
THE DRESS: I wanted a chic bias-cut dress with an open back. It was important that it was simple and would stand the test of time, whilst the seam details gave it a modern edge. I LOVED the quality of silk, it's like butter in your hands.
STANDOUT MOMENT: There were SO many, but the silent disco in the school cave nightclub was up there! Our chosen venue got sold after we had booked it and in the process of the changeover, it lost its license, so this was our ingenious way around it. It was a complete highlight and such a talking point.
RANDOM FACT: A shark was spotted in the bay where we were getting married just a few hours before and made the front page of the newspaper – some of the guests were in the shot, enjoying a swim!!!
SOUNDTRACK TO THE DAY: Our first dance was 'Shut Up And Dance With Me' by Empire of the Sun. We had the DJ mix the acoustic version into the dance track.
FLEETWOOD OF LONDON: Collaborative, tasteful, creative, elegant, modern, helpful and talented.
THE TEAM:
Wedding planner – Tor Cooper-Evan. There's nobody else you want to plan your wedding in Mallorca. Tor was phenomenal start to finish.
Photographer – Andrew Leo. Leo captures the moments and energy and that is how you absolutely want to remember the day.
Videographer – Reel Loves Films. Frances was amazing and I love the fact that she narrates the videos with the speeches!

Sophie Higginson
F.o.L BRIDE: Fashion and Media Make-up Artist and contributor to Fleetwood of London.
AKA: Mrs Samuel.
THE GROOM: Eddie.
MARRIED: Barnsley House, Cotswolds. An outside ceremony on a very hot July day, surrounded by the beautiful English gardens at Barnsley house. We had lots of candles, along with some gorgeous wafts of Astier de Villatte incense.
THE STORY GOES: Eddie pulled some unforgettable shapes on the dance floor of the local nightclub in Canterbury. He's still pulling the same moves now, 16 years on!!
TEAMBRIDESMAID: I had my three amigos by my side – identical twin sister Amie, BF and honorary sister Jenny and long-standing bestie Braid, who I met on Gumtree of all places, the days before social media!
THE DRESS: I wanted a dress that felt stylish with a modern twist, had meaning and was beautifully made. I struggled to find anything that just felt like me and I didn't want any of the traditional dresses that I was seeing. It meant only one thing...asking my fashion designer sister to design it. It ticked all the non-negotiables for me!
STANDOUT MOMENT: Walking down the aisle and seeing Ed waiting for me, with all our friends and family there to witness our marriage.
RANDOM FACT: We switched it up and had the Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom do the speeches – they were incredible. So much female power, it was inspirational!
SOUNDTRACK TO THE DAY: Our first dance was ‘Lovin' You’ by Minnie Riperton.
THE TEAM:
Photographer – M&J Photography. Personal friends, the super-talented Jonny and Morgane, who captured the day perfectly.
Florist – BluBelle Creative. With an insane background in visual merchandising, this big-hearted creative, Helen, knows just how to take a concept and make all your dreams come true. She won't stop until it's perfect. She is without a doubt someone you can totally rely on to get your vision.
Events Manager and Wedding Co-ordinator – Rachel Nelson at Barnsley house. She knows how to make you feel so at ease, nothing is a problem and she really does go above and beyond to help create your special day.
We also had a wonderful and talented Potter friend, Sy, make us all our candle holders. They were simple white ceramic with a wax seal rose, which was very meaningful. A single rose in my family has a bit of history – my great-grandad would gift one to my grandma and it was a way of having her present in our day.

Julia Fearnley
F.o.L BRIDE: Menswear Buyer at Topman, Mama to Aubrey and all-time gorgeous soul.
AKA: Mrs Nahum.
THE GROOM: Harry.
MARRIED: In Castelnau Des Fieumarcon in Gascony, South West France. A small chapel in a fortified village that we had rented for the weekend, surrounded by 360-degree views of rolling countryside and sunflower fields!
THE STORY GOES: We grew up in the same town but we had our first kiss at a fancy dress party in our mid-twenties – he was dressed up as Harry from Dumb and Dumber and me as a Ghostbuster!
TEAMBRIDESMAID: I had six beautiful bridesmaids, Jen, Charlotte, Sarah and Vics who have been my best friends since we met at secondary school aged 11! And the two Sophies, my best friend from University and my sister-in-law. Their love, energy and positivity is infectious! They planned me not one, but two unforgettable hen dos in Ibiza and Margate!
THE DRESS: The intricate and delicate lace work of the top of the dress was so sophisticated and romantic. The simple fitted floor-length skirt with small train complimented the detailed top just perfectly.
STANDOUT MOMENT: Driving away from our wedding in our camper van to start our six-month honeymoon adventure travelling around Europe as Mr and Mrs Nahum. I have never felt so free and in love!
RANDOM FACT: We rented a small, fortified village for our wedding weekend and it housed us plus 80 of our guests. It’s one of only two places in Europe where you can rent the entire village! It was magical.
SOUNDTRACK TO THE DAY: Our first dance was ‘This Must be the Place’ by Talking Heads. It has such a fun and upbeat melody you can't help but smile and dance to it and the words just sum up our love and relationship perfectly!
FLEETWOOD OF LONDON: Romantic, free-spirited and kind-hearted.
THE TEAM:
Photographer – Patrice Lariven
Wedding Planner – Laurence Beal from Marry me in France was epic and helped put us in touch with all the right people to make the day run smoothly.

Amie Higginson
F.o.L BRIDE: Fleetwood of London’s Founder and Designer.
AKA: Mrs Eley. Although I still haven't officially changed it!
THE GROOM: Nicky.
MARRIED: Under a tree, draped with muslin and hanging lanterns with the rolling hills of Tuscany as our backdrop. We got married at a gorgeous villa that we hired for a week in Contignano. We wanted a very intimate and small wedding with our nearest and dearest and really wanted to achieve several things...marry one another and say thank you to all the people that support and make us who we are, be outside in nature and eat fabulous food. The whole wedding was at the villa, with a very relaxed vibe. We ate on long rustic tables so everyone was included. We danced under the stars on our Kashmiri rugs that I sourced from India and drank Aperol spritz until we drank the bar dry.
THE STORY GOES: We met at Bestival in 2009, him in silver leggings and a sequin jumper and me in a bodycon dress with a wig and sequin make-up! It wasn’t love at first sight, as we literally
couldn’t see past all the bling, but we had A LOT of fun together which was what drew us together.
TEAM BRIDESMAID: I had four gorge bridesmaids and one hot bridesman who totally rocked their floral attire. I had my maid of honour and twinny Sophie. My soul sister Jenny and besties Amy, Hen and Matt. They all made it hugely meaningful and created some of the best memories. I made them all a piece of jewellery to say thank you.
THE DRESS: I wanted something that felt like me. I tried so many dresses on but finally I gave in to designing my own dress. It was important that it felt like a second skin so I could focus on enjoying the day. The shape was simple and relaxed but with a sexy open back and the focus was on the detail and embroidery.
STANDOUT MOMENTS: Without a doubt having all our friends and family watching us get married under a tree, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan countryside and sunshine. It was such a highlight having all the people we love there to celebrate and hear us read our personal vows to one another.
RANDOM FACT: Our party got a bit wild and those of us that were last up all jumped in the pool in our dresses and suits. Even my mum found herself in there too! It was all very rock 'n' roll. We later sat in the hot tub and I remember thinking – this is the most surreal experience, sat in here in my wedding dress, an Aperol spritz in hand and our fave people. Seeing my dress on the washing line the next day was hilarious.
SOUNDTRACK TO THE DAY: ‘You and Me’ by Penny and the Quarters was our first dance song. The words are perfect. I can remember that moment like it was yesterday. We also had Uncle Terry play his guitar and sing as I walked down the aisle. It was so emotional. You remember those moments forever as they just complete the day.
FLEETWOOD OF LONDON: Where dreams are created!
THE TEAM: We had wonderful friends who chipped in when our wedding planner became tricky and we couldn’t see how things were going to get done. It was a heart-warming moment when everyone got involved to make it all come together.
Florist – BluBelle Creative. The fabulous, bubbly and wonderfully creative Helen flew out to do the flowers and style our wedding and they went above and beyond. The tree we got married under was so beautiful – Helen and her team created our dream.
Photographer – Lelia Scarfiotti. I found the beautiful and talented Lelia before we found our venue. I loved her work instantly and knew she'd captured those special moments and the insane scenery perfectly. Her fine art-style photography which is so heavily connected to nature and the scenery was everything we wanted to capture it's so enchanted.
Marquee tent – Tentickle. We went for a Berber-style marquee, they are beautiful and stylish, totally worth the extensive search to find something so stylish, and the guys that set it up were brilliant.

Emma Hood
F.o.L BRIDE: Mama to Kitty and nature lover.
AKA: Mrs Hemmings.
THE GROOM: Joe.
MARRIED: In a self-built barn! Taking handmade weddings to a whole new level! We decided early on that we wanted to produce and prep all our own food. After all, we built our venue, so why the heck not do it all! We wanted to create an alfresco vibe for the day and so we made beetroot terrine, reared our own pigs and had them cured and served on sharing boards as an antipasto. It was such an achievement and we definitely had help from loved ones!
THE STORY GOES: Met in a pub, on the day of the royal wedding.
TEAMBRIDESMAID: Six gorge ladies made up of sister Marianne, sister-in-law Amy, besties Kelly, Caz, Tracey and Beanie, plus two pretty little flower girls, Coco & Daisy.
THE DRESS: Hand appliquéd ivory lace dress, with V-neckline and tie grosgrain straps.
RANDOM FACT: We swapped the speeches around, so we had the Father of the Groom and Best Woman do speeches! It was great to break the traditional rules!
SOUNDTRACK TO THE DAY: The XX, 'Islands' – it was quite an unusual one to dance to but we love it!
FLEETWOOD OF LONDON: Fleetwood's beautiful fabrics, hand-finishing and attention to detail made making my dress a unique experience that I will never forget.
THE TEAM:
Photographer – Katy McDonnell. Every photo captures the guests’ personalities perfectly, along with the atmosphere and mood. When you look back at the photos it's like you are reliving it all again.
Crazily we did so much of it ourselves along with family – their help was invaluable. We had friends and family grow flowers for us for the bouquets, tables and floral arch, someone made bread, others chipped in and helped decorate the barn. Something magical happens when the people you love are so involved – it comes from love and that is expressed throughout the whole day.

Amy Hemmings
F.o.L BRIDE: Beautiful Mama and Founder of Liberty print children's wear brand, Coco & Wolf.
AKA: Mrs Hemmings-Batt.
THE GROOM: Harry – (bo).
MARRIED: At the 15th century Church of St Mary the Virgin, Croscombe, one of the oldest churches in the UK. We had the reception at our local town hall, which looked over the hills of Somerset. We went for a Liberty print, vintage vibe and as a family who love crafts we went to town on making and creating. We had vintage glassware and gold glitter apples as name place settings too.
THE STORY GOES: A skiing holiday in Bularai with friends, that resulted in us meeting on a Gondola…and the rest is history as they say!
TEAMBRIDESMAID: My sisterhood is so important to me and I wouldn’t have walked down the aisle without them: Holly Price, my best friend of over 20 years. David Paxton, the most organised bridesman. Amie Eley, the kindest and most inspiring friend who created the most amazing dress for my day> Lucy Sinclair, the biggest party animal who I have had many a crazy time with.
THE DRESS: Understated, simple in shape, 20s glamour, demure and magical.
STANDOUT MOMENT: When my husband came out for the first dance in a tie-dye suit!
RANDOM FACT: We made our own cider for the day, all 250 litres of it!
SOUNDTRACK TO THE DAY: ‘Handle With Care’ by The Traveling Wilburys.
FLEETWOOD OF LONDON: Personal, unique, dreamy, magical, spiritual and luxurious.
THE TEAM:
Photographer – Katy McDonnell's photographs are a work of art with their naturalistic style, they are incredibly beautiful and they captured the essence of the moment in such a dreamy way.
We had a lot of family want to be involved in our big day as it really made them feel a part of it, especially my mum and dad. My dad grew potatoes and peas for the pie and mash wedding breakfast and my mum grew all the succulents and flowers, whilst my hens all took it in turns to make ten metres of Liberty print bunting! Gosh I owe them all!
